Little Springs YogaTM (LSY) is an Americanized version of Pranayama, the 'unobstruction of the breath’ or life force, [yoga anatomy educator Leslie Kaminoff]. LSY consists of exercises that quickly and effectively "burn the seeds of karma," eliminating the highs and lows of tamas and rajas, "revealing the Self in its Satvic purity."
The student is taken beyond the asanas, breathwork, and meditations to arrive at a state of Unitary consciousness.
What do LSY practitioners experience? Patanjali describes this state of consciousness as:
"Compassion for the suffering,
Happiness towards the joyful.
Friendliness towards the pure
And impartiality towards the impure."
Swami Vivekananda describes this as "...only the meaning of the thought is present." The juice" of the resentment is gone. The pain of the past trauma is absent.
